We have some exciting news to make every manga lover’s heart skip a beat! Starting Thursday, October 16th, “Kumamoto Manga Arts” is launching the “Kumamoto Manga Dojo,” a workshop where you can handle professional-grade art supplies and experience the authentic process of inking a manga page.

■ “What kind of tools do manga artists actually use?”

In this workshop, you will use the exact tools loved by many professionals: the “G-Pen,” ink, and specialized manuscript paper. A truly special experience awaits you, one that can only be felt by using the real materials.

Our staff will carefully support you, teaching you everything from how to hold the tools to how to draw the lines. Whether you aren’t confident in your drawing skills or it’s your first time holding a G-Pen, please join us with peace of mind.

■ The Thrill of Recreating Famous Scenes with Your Own Hands

At the Dojo, your challenge is to recreate heart-pumping scenes from legendary manga masterpieces that everyone knows. Using templates as your guide, you will pour your heart into every line, breathing life into the characters just like a real manga artist.

The experience takes approximately 60 to 120 minutes. Enjoy a fulfilling time of pure concentration as you face your work.
